I dont know what kind of bassoons you have at your school but not even our freshmen sound that bad...

Our second band is participating in the Cedar Park Pre UIL fest on Sat, so I get to spend my morning sightreading UIL music on the sax (I've played some of it like twice). Then next Fri we're hosting our own Pre UIL fest so ill be playing bassoon with our top band in that. Anyone else going?

I didn't even write an essay for the field test. That thing was an insult to my intelligence, what little is there... My prompt was "desribe a hero" or something like that. I dont really remember cause i didnt write it!

What was yall's music called? I'd really like to find the concert version of RR and Bowie's. I wanted CP's too, but apparently I have excerpts from Symph 10 on my mp3 player and I didn't even know it.

Wow this is slightly old but I just now litened to it. Unfortunately I'm a big picture person so don't expect too detailed of an analysis. Generally I stick to classical music and I don't like to step out of the box, but I really enjoyed this piece. Your use of percussion effects were impressive. That's one of the things I struggle with so I really respect that. I agree that some of the transitions were rough but it wasn't too distracting to me. I think the ending is the strongest part of the piece. What program did you use to write this? It sounds much more real than my finale audio.

I hate Valentines day! It sucks... It's very depressing if you don't have a Valentine to share it with.

Yeah I'll second that order, but I'd like some pineapple too. I actually got a one which is suprising given I found out the Wednesday before that I had to play all 4 movements instead of just 2 on my solo. Haha my ensemble was DNA.

I totally want to go, and my director wants me to too, but it's not gonna happen. Oh well. next year hopefully I'll have to go...

Bassoon is first on the list for a reason! Of course I might be a little biased . Other than bassoon, b sax, but it's not even close...
