I don't know how we even did that well with Sensemaya. We need to stay with very traditional music. That's who Leander is. I loved RR show this year, btw. Definately in my top 5. There are rumors of what our show is next year but I wouldn't want to get ahead of myself there...

Yeah that's true. UT is almost too convienent. I live less than an hour away, it has two really strong programs that I want to study...The thing is I can get into another school, even some out of state, for less. Money is a big player in choosing a college for me. The less debt, the better.

we've had some...disagreements (AKA, I want scholarships and they dont want to give them to me ). I love their sports, but besides ACC, UT is a last resort...

Thanks for the advice. Right now I'm just trying to narrow down coleges I want to go to. I'd like to stay in TX or go north but stay in the middle of the continent. OK, MO, KS, etc. The prob is I want to double major in enginering or architecture, so I have to find a school relatively good at both. At least till I'm looking for a graduate school.

lol now that I think of it, it does. I love his work. October is my favorite, but I am hesitant to say he's the next great composer. None of us will really ever know, b/c his name would have to last past when all of us are gone...

That happened my freshman year with...SENSEMAYA...*shudder* We have a more positive outlook since our shows have been better, but dedication...I dunno. We definately have focus issues, but not so much dedication. We have alot of complainers, and if you walked in on a particularly taxing practice you would think our band was gonna fall apart, but almost all are just talk. Then when we have a good performance or win a competition, suddenly everyone loves band again. Then on Monday we have a great practice, but Tues we go back to normal. It's a never ending cycle, but it's slowly getting better. Hopefully next year will be AWESOME!!!

I figured out how to upload my stuff finally. Hopefully these links work. Feedback would be greatly apprecited! This one's just a solo. F minor, pretty slow. Bassoon Adagio Solo This one was pretty random, but it turned out better than expected. The Cowardly Prince, The Fiery Dragon, and the Beautiful Princess This is a brass quintet. Besides some weird keys it's a nice song. Ends w/ a little dissonance in the horn part. Dawn This is a full band arrangement. The transitions are a little shaky, and the dynamics haven't been worked out (especially the last note ), but it's still my favorite, at least of these four. If you have an idea for a name, that would be great too... No Name

Yeah but our director picked Symphony #2... We played Op. 99 my freshman year. That's a fun march.

I think we have drill masters, but I'm not sure. Ours are definately not comfortable...or maybe it's cause mine are too small...
