I'm not a bass clarinet...but I'm the unofficial low reed/ sax leader...kinda (long story). Anyway this year we had 4 seniors and none of them used neckstraps even when a clinician yelled at them to. The others did cause they couldn't march and/or play w/o it...

Good luck with that. I'd love to see RR win, but... Anyway it's awesome that our district represented so well in round 1. All four teams are moving on. Ironic that the two teams Leander lost to (A&M Consolidated and Bryan) were beaten in the first round by two teams that we beat (RR and Westwood)...by two in our district no less!

I like our new region alignment...but ours is smaller now so they take less people. At orchestra they used to take 4. This year I was fourth...but now they only take 2...

You have your own locker room? We dress out in the middle of the band hall. Guys walkin around in their boxers...a little scary. Or we dress in the middle of a parking lot. Always the best locker room, if you ask me. As for our slot room... it scares me. But now they put in new lights and you can tell how gross it is...do not walk barefoot in there ...
