    And I’ve heard that Reagan would have 2 years ago if they went but Vandegrift won and we’re proud TeamTexas just the same. Don’t tarnish a legacy but saying “if only this band went”. There are no asterisks.

    Man, I just love The Woodlands. This show is so fun. Not sure if anyone is a Schitt’s Creek fan but I can hear Patrick singing “Willkommen” and Stevie singing “Maybe this time” every time they play! I’m a casual band parent (don’t know much about marching band) and I want to say Thank you to The Woodlands for keeping it fun!! Traditional marching band has its place and will usually get all the love from the judges but the fun shows are for me!!!

    CTJ has 6 drum majors. They rotate in and out of the show.

    I know it feels like your favorite team just lost the Super Bowl but remember these are just high school kids. Kids that still do kid things like play video games or say inappropriate things at inappropriate times (haha). I’m an awe at the maturity and talent these kids display. I’m so proud to call myself a band parent. Band has truly been a blessing and I’m grateful to be part of such a fantastic community. Congrats to Vandegrift and the rest of Team Texas!! We brought it last night and made a lasting impression! See y’all next year!!! Oh, and last night proves....band is just better in Texas!!!

    Not even going to try...different judges see and hear different things. It’s going to be a wild finish! But the odds are in favor of the Eagle coming home to Texas!

    I think CTJ’s track record speaks for itself as far as their approach to learning. I wouldn’t change a thing!!

    Starting this already!? Do me a favor....go listen to a song called “What might have been” by Little Texas and see if that helps. Reagan was awesome but they are not in Indy.

    I’m kinda surprised by people’s predictions for CTJ. Is this based on other productions or based on BOA Austin? Because trust me, it’s a different/much improved show than what was in Austin. Because correct me if I’m wrong but the only time anyone has seen CTJ is Austin. They’ve kept their videos pretty close hold and not all over YouTube like some others. Just really curious.

    In my opinion, they need to rotate Grand Nats out of Carmel’s backyard. Bring it to SA every other year, every 2 years, or something. BOA should showcase the best band state in the US!!

    Oh no worries. I wasn’t offended. CTJ has made some awesome changes/additions and I believe their next step is building a nest for the Eagle! I kid of course but they are going to be a strong contender. Their music is powerful and their show is so fun! Makes me wish I was young again so I could march a CTJ show just once.

    I like to think of it like the NFL playoffs. You’ll always have your powerhouse teams (Patriots = FloMo) that will be a lock for finals. Then you’ll have “usual” division winners (Seahawks = Reagan). Then there’s the switch up of your wild cards. That’s where it gets interesting and will be exciting to see who’s this year’s wildcard. And just like the NFL, anyone can beat anyone. Show up and play your best.

    Saw it tonight at our districts fall festival. It’s fantastic!! Will easily take BOA Houston and will be a medal contender at SA Super Regional. Just my prediction.

    Looking forward to seeing Madison at the fall festival tonight! I have a great nephew that plays trumpet at Madison.
