    Union’s show has quickly become one of my favorites! I’m so happy that they made finals and the guard was lights out!!!

    This incredibly challenging TWHS show has completely transformed and blossomed through the season. It is easily one of my favorites and that performance sold every second!

    Wow I totally agree with all the judges choices...especially the 12 finalist bands. SO happy that Union is in! The judges really got this right.

    I don’t think Avon Is leaving without a spot in the top 2 and at least one caption. And that’s a safe prediction

    CTJ is just so good in every aspect! That solo battle is everything they needed to tie the middle of the show together.

    Hebron is better than a lot have been giving them credit for here! Should easily be top half and in medal (or eagle) contention with that insane music performance. The ballad clicked much better in semis than prelims. What a run compared to prelims...maybe the best band we’ve seen so far imo...

    I love how William Mason uses Symphonic Metamorphosis in that weird pre-show recording. An awesome design choice for the exposition. These woodwinds are on fire! There’s been talk that this show is even better than Mason ‘16. I personally disagree, but they have made great strides to return to their previous level of greatness. The second half of the show is oddly paced to me, but they really want a spot in the top half here...or maybe even higher...

    Omg, I LOVE Union’s show! Easily one of my favorites of the year. Awesome music book that is not watered down, great percussion, and awesome guard! I reallllly want to see that again!

    Park Vista certainly doesn’t have the most demanding show we’ll see, but it’s designed phenomenally and they perform the heck out of it! The vocalist doesn’t really add anything, and I actually dislike the repeated “hallelujah”, but it’ll be interesting to see where they end up.

    I still think Carmel will have a very good shot at medaling. Maybe I’m wrong, but the judges seem to love them and I wasn’t totally offended by that music performance. Championship visual all around.

    Homestead’s ballad is glorious! Overall, the show hasn’t evolved as much as I though it would throughout the season, but still very worthy of finals.

    Fishers was so good! I would not be mad at all to see that in finals. The guard had an excellent run!

    Vandegrift has an INSANE music book!!! And they don’t stop moving through the whole show! Team Texas is so good!!!

    CTJ plays with SO MUCH control! The best musical performance of the day in my opinion. That seemed like a great first run for Team Texas!!!

    Great show from Bassett! They remind me of Marcus because of the uniforms.

    Carmel has an insanely difficulty and nuanced visual production, but the music performance doesn’t match.

    FloMo in ninth was pretty accurate to what I saw in the dome, but Keller should’ve stayed as 10th imo. Vista Ridge was shockingly clean and deserved every bit of that medal. But what’s the point over arguing about scores...I’ll give my full thoughts later.

    You were spot on with this. Keller gave the first “finalist” performance of the competition. Way too many deserving bands.

    A lot of bands deserve to be in finals here, but only 14 can. I know I’m stating the obvious but I like how competitive it is...it makes things interesting for the years to come.
