John B Alexander 58th? I thought they won a regional unless I goofed? What I saw had me close to tears and saw it live in prelims. Was really pulling for them. What happened?

Saw someone from Leander fall but they were mostly behind a Nuclear Plant prop just caught it from the angle I was looking

Vandegrift almost blew the roof off!

JBA maybe one of the most emotional and well put together shows I have ever seen. It would make me so happy to see the show again in finals. So much going on that I probably missed some things. I want to agree w the person who said to check out their show last year too just watched it the other day and it’s on the same level. I think they won a regional this year? Reagan what a beastly band! Best show from them since 2014. So much band visuals on top big big sound. Precision is strong guard is huge and makes oceans of color. So favorable in every category I am sure! Easy to see why they have been taking home the gold at all the contests they went to and they might tomorrow! CTJ is the most improved band all year from seeing them on stream. They have some visual dirt still to clean but they have plenty of time before grand nats so they will get better. Not my favorite kind of show but they do everything so well that it makes you love them and easy to see them in finals as usual.

John B Alexander is the dark horse. Saw them earlier this year and its surely surprising. Don't miss them. 3 Regional winners in their block (they are one of them) Reagan overall winner of the entire contest is a decent assumption.

I agree. Felt like Rosemount was such an afterthought when they have “bigger” groups the design team writes for. Maybe they should find a team that really cares about elevating that group instead of giving them left overs.

Did not see JBA in prelims but in finals they brought out this HUGE tarp that covered the entire field in the middle of the show! I think they changed uniforms in the middle of the show too

Saw JBA in San Antonio last night. Probably the most exciting show I’ve seen in years. Ppl on here said it was a GE monster and they aren’t kidding. They are a definite contender if they can clean marching and music just a bit more.

Alexander was incredibly incredible. One of the most entertaining shows I have ever witnessed.
