In their beginning part of their halftime (drill team part) they have 10 tubas out there and it looks like 1 or 2 holes. so surely they aren't only marching 5 tubas. My guess would be 8 tubas.

Ironically, Marcus just posted a teaser on their facebook. Some clips of their show I think with them actually showing everyone the title of their show.

Agree with most of the predictions however I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on Forney. They got 6th at this contest in 2018 & 2019 and everything I've heard about that program is that they're stronger than 2 years ago!

That'll definitely be tough, Area C is no joke. The max they can send is 5 and the top 3 are "locks" with FloMo, Hebron, and Marcus. Prosper, rockwall, wylie, mckinney, sachse. There's a lot of bands fighting to get in for those last couple spots but good for Mckinney!

Kind of surprising how small this competition is this year. I know there’s quite a few contests happening that same day. Regardless, the quality of bands attending is still going to be highly competitive! Excited to see how some of these bands look after a year off of marching.

For me, the coolest moment I've ever had watching a band was when Avon came down to San Antonio in 2017. The crowd reaction and the electric energy in the room was truly magical. Not to mention, Maslanka 4 is just an amazing piece of art.

Wow Marcus goes first? That is quite an unfortunate draw for them with no finals this year. Haven't seen a video of them but they nearly swept Area C over Flower Mound and Hebron last night.

Is Reagan not doing State?

The number of bands that go to state from each area are based off of bands that qualify for area AKA getting a 1 at UIL and not just their participation at the contest. I don't know about 2A or 4A but over 20 bands qualified for area in 6A for Area C therefore they're actually sending 4 bands to state! My bet for 6A would be Hebron, Marcus, FloMo, and then a toss up between Wylie, Sachse, or Rockwall.

Weiss is AAA now? They haven't been to any BOA shows this year yet so I couldn't find that info. Thought for sure with Rouse moving up to AAA they would win AA.
