I've had the chance to see Lumberton and get to see them again in 2 weeks. They have an interesting show (But I haven't seen the full production yet). I'll try to get some footage when I see them

so I updated this and the total number of bands now is 29. So the highest amount of bands that we could see advance is 5 bands, but we will most likely end up with 4 which really sucks since someone would be missing state.

I have 8 bands that I feel should be finalists here and then like 5 or 6 others who I also could see as finalists. This area will be one of the most shocking in terms of results.

Area B is going to be crazy! I'm also really excited to see how Pearce does!

I was a bit shocked by some of the placements, that is all.

This right here is what judges tend to look for. The band that comes in with great musical techniques and marching techniques that perform their show well tend to place higher. If I'm correct, creativity comes into play with Bands of America and State. But overall, every band did amazing, no matter what the results said at the end of the day. Even i had my personal favorites (Belton)

With that, all the 2024 bands have finished! What an amazing day of performances! We are in for a treat with the exhibition and then it's reward time! Thank you all for the performances!!!

Lone Star- The Other Side- HELLO LONE STAR!!! They have an amazing wall of sound! I love their use of Hallelujah. They look amazing visually, but there were some lines that didn't line up (that shouldn't affect them). They did amazing overall! Thank you for the performance Lone Star!

McKinney- Poured Lines- McKinney coming in strong today with their performance! They have a really good sound and look amazing to watch on the field! The power they bring in sound is legit incredible. I have really enjoyed watching McKinney re-build and can't wait to see what the future has in store. They are ready for Area J. Amazing job McKinney!!!

Lakeview Centennial HS- HELLO Lakeview! This band has been on a rise over the years and this year could finally be the one that pays off. They sound amazing and are doing great on the marching side! Lakeview is looking to advance to State out of Area C 5A and I think this is their year! Amazing performance Lakeview Centennial!

Frisco Memorial HS- The techniques used in their music is incredible! They look amazing visually, I could really see this show be a area finalists this year at Area B. The trombone Quartet is also amazing! Their sound is seriously not something to sleep on. Their soloists in the slow movement sounded wonderful! I love how they have the woodwinds spin flags in the slow movement. This band you do not want to miss a performance of this year. Amazing run Memorial!!!!

North Forney HS- Urban Lights- HELLO North Forney! Great first hit! I have to say the uniforms look really cool! I like the color. Their brass sound amazing!!! They are also doing very well with their marching visuals and techniques. Amazing job to the flute soloist! Their closing hits were awesome! Amazing performance North Forney!!!

Argyle HS- Alright, their wall of sound is amazing! They are marching very well and have made a great adapt to the 5A classification these past few years. I just can't get over how well they sound! Their show is ready for not just Area, but a possible 5A state apperance and Grand Nationals apperance! Amazing job Argyle HS!
