  1. Hey everyone, so I have a question about "212" that started in Cypress Woods. I'm confused on what it means.
  2. Burnet got the 1st placement from Judge 5
  3. Top 10: 10th: China Spring 9th: Kennedale 8th: Calallen 7th: Bridge City 6th: Wills Point 5th: Canton 4th: North Lamar 3rd: Burnet 2nd: Melissa 1st: Argyle
  4. I think it was because of the current situation of 2020
  5. Even though there aren't many shows that I remember seeing, I was in a 4A school, so we didn't get to see many of the 5A/6A shows, there were a couple that I can recall from 4A. North Lamar 2017 was probably one of the best shows I had seen while I was in High School. Especially the Tuba solo, which made everyone cheer! Another 4A show that I remember seeing was Princeton, before they were a 5A, in 2017, and I really enjoyed that show! For 5A, I did get to see Ridge Point perform at the UIL State Contest. I was in Band class and the director had the State Contest on, and I was able to catch the performance. Even though the ending got ruined because of the tarp getting stuck, which caused half the band to not get covered (They were doing something kindave like what Carolina Crown did in 2015, but it was still a great performance to watch! 6A, I was able to see a couple of performances since my band went to watch some of the 2018 6A Finals State contest before we had to go to dinner. I can't remember which school I did see, it was either Keller or Vandegrift because of the time we got to the Stadium. I was sad though because I was in line to get the State shirt when Ronald Regan was about to perform, and they are one of my favorite 6A bands.... Overall, there were plenty of shows that I do remember seeing, but due to the fact that I was in a 4A school, I didn't get to see many of the 5A/6A performances.
  6. Now if I do end up being incorrect. Then sorry for the wrong information
  7. It was changed to 7 for this year
  8. Hey here is my video for the State Marching Contest!
  9. Here is my video for the state marching contest!
  10. Here is my video for the State contest!
  11. Congrats to Argyle, Canton, Wills Point, and Melissa who have advanced to the State Marching contest from 4A Area B!!!
  12. I also edited my comment, the way I said it was not good
  13. yeah I know, and it may be that the scores were wrong for some of the bands
  14. Also was there something going on with the 4th judge? It looks like they changed the ranks given to a lot of bands
  15. Congrats to China Spring! So they did figure out there was an issue
  16. A 20??? The other scores were a 1, 3, 2, 7, and a 20?
  17. Something is off about the scores for China Spring...
  18. Yeah, their show this year is great and I can't wait to see how they do at the State Contest! Also I never noticed until you mentioned it, but that is awesome to see that they were able to come back after loosing to a tiebreaker to get into finals. Congrats to them on their advancement!!!
  19. Congrats to Pearland and Dawson, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 6A Area E! Congrats to Calallen, Navarro, and Hondo, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 4A Area E! Congrats to Charlotte, Ganado, and Falls City, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 2A Area E! Congrats and good luck to all bands from Area E at the UIL State Championships on December 14 and 15!
  20. Congrats to Marcus, Flower Mound, Hebron, and Wylie, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 6A Area C! Congrats to North Lamar, Lumberton, Bridge City, and Paris, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 4A Area C! Congrats to Tenaha, Linden-kildare, and Simms, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 2A Area C! Good luck to all bands from Area C at the UIL State Championships on December 14 and 15!
  21. Congrats to Waxahachie and Coppell! They are advancing to the UIL State Championships from 6A Area B! Also congrats to Santo, Honey Grove, and Anson, who have advanced to the UIL State Championships from 2A Area B! 4A is next Tuesday, so we will have to wait and see who will be advancing to the State Championships for 4A!
  22. It is just one of those years...Like with Area E, most of the bands that advanced in 2018 chose not to compete, and for Fulshear, they moved up to 5A. Area D, castleberry chose not to compete. Area C, many of the bands that would normally be there chose to advance to the State Military contest. For 2A, only 4 of the 7 bands from 2018 finals have advanced, so it is showing that this year is something else
  23. Something else I want to say is congrats to Lake Belton, who has made their first ever State contest!
  24. Ok, So now on Tuesday, Area B 4A will take place, and then the State Contest is set! I have to say I'm shocked that both Godley and China Spring didn't make it. I was also surprised to see Alvarado not make it either. So less than three days until we have the full 4A lineup.
