    I have no doubts that Kennedale and Springtown will do great this year. For Godley, I haven't seen any of their shows, but if they are doing good, that is good to hear! My main interest though is for Area E. Based on the Regional Forum for UIL, none of the bands that made State in 2018 are competing this year. Now it could change at any moment, but as of now, Area E may have a huge difference on who makes state. Also was every Entrance for Region due on the same day?

    I didn't see any videos of Stephenville or Sunnyvale. Must of changed since I last looked. Also rip Castleberry if they don't compete. They have been very well every state year

    As of right now, the only bands I know of that are competing are (Lumberton, possibly Bridge City), who are in Area C, (Melissa, Argyle, Canton, Anna, and possibly Iowa Park and Mineral Wells), who are all in Area B. Bands that are most likely not competing are Sunnyvale, Silsbee, La Vega, and Stephenville. I have no information on North Lamar, even though I believe they do have a show

    Hey ya'll, I have been doing a project for a bit now where I try and find Area results from previous years. So far I have gotten to 2015, but I can't seem to figure out what the name of the 2014 pdf files were. Do any of you happen to have the 2014 Area URL or remember the name of it. I'm doing it based on UIL website, so its harder for me to find it. Also I can't seem to find the 2016 4A Area A Prelims and Finals and 2015 3A Area A Finals pdf files, if anyone happens to know its name as well, please help!     Yeah that makes more since to me now. I was just confused since some people say that some 4A school would be good in 1A BOA, which I'm guessing is where most 4A's are, or would they be 2A since 5A is 3A and some 2A groups?

    Hey Ya'll, so how does BOA classification system work? I know that they have 1A, 2A, etc..., but I have never understood how it all works, since I never watched or competed in a BOA competition while I was in High School. I also hear that the BOA 1A groups are really good when comparing them to UIL 3A and 4A marching band classification

    Ah ok, I was just curious since I found out that they moved the Area B contest for 4A from Denton this year, so I was also wondering if any bands have announced if they were not performing this season. Also stay safe out there with the Hurricanes coming

    Hey everyone, I'm Dave609, former marcher of The Melissa High Mighty Cardinal Marching Band, class of 2019. I am making this topic so everyone can talk about their favorite Marching Band, from 1A-6A and explain why they like that band so much. If you were to ask me who my favorite marching band was, I would tell you that my favorite band is The Leander High School Marching Band. They have been my favorite band since 2015, when I first saw them as a freshman, and when they were competing at the UIL State Marching Band Championship. I liked their show so much and thought what they did was amazing. Over time some other bands have gotten into my favorite's category, which include Flower Mound, North Lamar, Spring Hill, and so many other amazing programs. So now its your turn, who is your favorite Marching Band, and Why?

    I also marched in Area B with Melissa, Heritage never made finals, they placed 21st in 2016 and 16th in 2018. Now I don't know how they did in 2014 since I wasn't marching yet, but maybe this will be a good year for them, but isn't Area D also a difficult area?

    Area B for 4A once again added a new band that was at state last year, which is Van Alstyne. Now I know this won't affect the results as much, but it definitely add's another band that will fight for a State spot this year. maybe we will see Farmersville, Community, Van Alstyne, Aubrey, Mabank, or Kaufman at state this year

    Hey Ya'll I just uploaded this video! I mainly talk about the new UIL rule, "For the 2020-2021 school year each area and state contest shall consist of only one round" (UIL).

    Back when I went to Melissa HS in 2016, we used Contras, but that was the only season we used them. In 2017, we were supposed to use them, but there wasn't enough Contras for the whole group, so we switched back to Sousaphones.

    Thank you! That show was definitely something different from the past shows I marched in, since I marched from 2015-2018. That show was fun to be a part of! Good luck to ya'll as well for the season! Lumberton definitely has some great shows every year!

    Hey, I wanted to say good luck to ya'll for the season! I was part of Melissa High School in 2018 and ya'll were really impressive that year!
