Just thought I'd share some fun news that Reagan Band Alumni Dawson Wayne (Rice) made it to the top 24 on the current season of American Idol. He graduated in 2020. He was the drum major in the pit in Reagan's 2019's Secret World. You can see him in the center front of the pit in that show. This is his showstopper performance: Voting starts with next week's performances, if you'd like to give a band kiddo some love!

Reagan has BOA Houston, TX Marching Classic, all UIL events, BOASA, and Grand Nationals on their calendar. All of it is marked as "tentative," which I assume is due to ongoing uncertainty over the COVID situation, rather than the announcement that the head director is leaving at the end of this school year.
