WOW no independence in finals--unfortunate, theyve had a killer season what performing first + in downpour does i guess..

was about to say, they got 4th last year. congratulations to all of the finalists, really grateful that the rain cleared up for the most part and that this contest is still going on

this area is an absolute bloodbath, and going off of schools that have historically made it in the past, there havent been any other ccisd schools that have advanced to state recently. would be cool to see clear springs or clear lake up there though

Ok this might've been passed, but I'm still not understanding how Cy-Fair was placed last in brass, yet days before at BOA SA they get 7th in music ensemble. Really shows you how much can vary contest to contest.

They had a mask mandate--people have been getting sick left and right and they want to have the best performance possible by keeping people healthy.

They were less than 2 points out of finals and they were 4 out. Really solid appearance considering how stacked that contest was

Along with Lake Highlands, some great stuff has been going on at JJ Pearce this year, really loving how great theyve been sounding and looking this year. Dark horse for finals tbh

Judging by how Richland did at area, I’d say they’re a pretty solid contender for finals. They also made it here in 2019, so they’re no stranger to this contest.

Azle 6th though… really shows how different of a ballgame UIL is compared to BOA.

Wow, so finals order was reverse prelims placements. Probably a mistake, but regardless congrats to all of the bands!! Especially Grapevine, for being an area finalist for the first time in over 15 yrs, and Brewer for (theoretically) making state for the first time!

Prosper ISD will become the new Frisco ISD, and Celina ISD will become the new Prosper ISD. Give it 5-10 years

Wow, Berkner 6th overall in music in prelims, yet 19th overall. Crazy stuff Also, something about Colleyville Heritage being 20th in music ensemble just doesn't sit right with me...
