much agreed with DrumMajorly it was a great competition with a lot of suprises.. but anyway congrats to all bands that made finals regardless of who placed in the top 3.. the judges will always have different opinions but y should it matter as long as you come off the field knowing that it was your best show all year.. As for us (Connally) we just had a great boost of encouragment from our directors and we were ready to bring it no matter where we ended up in the rankings we came off the field knowing that it was our best performance and that is all that matters.

I have come back to give out my absolute apologies to the Cougar Band world (Directors,Boosters, administrators and our suppporters) my comments were uncalled for. cant wait till area in 12 days!!!!!!!!!

dont count berkner out TROYKA IS A KNOWN GENIUS!!!!!!! hes helped the Connally and Hendrickson leadership teams at our leadership retreat and everything that comes out of his mouth is absolutely genius!!!!! every word he says is great

I actually have seen dripping springs show but im not gonna say wat i thought because, when i saw them it was from backfield and it prolly wont be acuurate our band knows how hungry they are and im not counting them out i hope that we see them at Finals at Westlake sat so that i can get a accurate idea of how good they are... okay so heres what i think of Area D at this point I know of three bands this year New Braunfels Connally (the school i go to) and Hendrickson all are still my favs to get to state from area D....... BUT as a member of the connally band all i can say is WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO. all i can say is you never know tell me what yall think and keep this updated after the crazy ness this sat I believe hendrickson is at BOA Arlington(hendrickson sry if i screwed that up) Connally is at Westlake AND USSBA Hays and also keep in mind that next week is also UIL Region following state keep this updated.
