Oh yeah... I hear that in big schools it's like that. In small schools you can do more. If you play one sport you're pretty much expected to do most, if not all of them. Band doensn't take much time up. Phorojournalism sounds pretty sweet though.

Dude... no way?!?! Haha, jk. Oh yeah I guess I should put what I do. Varsity cross country/track/and tennis since freshman year! I love the running. Uh I'm in choir, but mostly cause of the amazing trip that no other program or clubs take. And... I think that's about it. No UIL for me this year!

So I'm sitting here bored in my office aide class and I decided to start this topic. So is anyone here in anything other than band in there school? Like any sports, clubs, stuff like that? Tell us!

I'd never even heard of BOA 'till I joined Texas bands. From what it seems like it's a big school thing. UIL will never be phased out though... cause pretty much every band in Texas does it. Even if they're only expected too. We almost didn't do it one year and my director almost got fired.
