I'd have to agree with Kyle on that one. Anywho, being a senior is great... Seniority and getting to be a leader without the responsibility...since I didn't actually become marching leader, but I still pretty much do it anyway... It's funny to watch some of the freshmen who have no idea what they're doing and remembering that you used to be like that... Oh, and it's funny that our show is titled Full Circle because we pretty much come full circle with our senior class, from Corners of the Mind to Full Circle. Think about the show and watch our show this year and you'll know what I mean.

I can't really think of concert pieces I like... On a Hymnsong of Phillip Bliss - I love this one because not only did I get to play this in band, but I got to sing it at church too. Also, it's just a pretty song and the story behind it is very touching. October - I can't stop listening to this piece, I think another band played it, and somehow I got the mp3...it's beautiful. It almost makes me cry listening to it. Not a concert piece, but SENSEMAYA! JK JK JK...don't kill me!!!

Ah guard floor mats. Imagine pulling them through a doorway that it doesn't fit through, getting you finger smashed between it and a bar between the doors, and still having to practice, fun stuff. Librarian here, third year! Yeah, I just hate when people make copies, but don't put the originals in the right place, or throw away perfectly fine copies that they could've just archived. Or making a million copies because they didn't check the number on there beforehand. Although, I've done that many times, usually I stop it before it reaches 10, but some people will just sit there and watch 2 Millions copies of Hey Baby for piccolo (that specific incident hasn't ever happened, but people do just watch it...) Man we still need to clean the library some more... My tip for librarians: put up signs to let you know where the original, drill, region, and such are. It doesn't make it that much faster, but a little.

Hm, well I know that my freshman year we had to go to a middle school for band camp because they were working on the school, so we couldn't be anywhere near it. This is different, but maybe you guys could practice on the actual football field...or does your football team have a practice field? Maybe even a soccer field, although you guys wouldn't really have lines to tell where you are. All I have to say is, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger", maybe that applies to this situation too? I hope everything works out!

Eh, we went two years ago, and it rained when we went to Epcot on the second day, but Magic Kingdom and the parade were great! So...YES, DISNEY WORLD ROCKS!

Yeah, my mom hydroplaned yesterday. It was scary because it was at an intersection...and we turned and the back of our truck kept going straight and...scary. Luckily nobody else was really around for us to hit, so we got two whole lanes to swish around in. Needless to say, I wasn't really hungry for the Jack in the Box we were getting after that. My mom called me a big baby...I AM NOT A BABY *tear*

Leander used to be a good band. We've had some trouble coming back from some problems, but I think we're starting to do it. The people we lost out to for state were great bands, and the people we beat (I just remember Round Rock because y'all we're sitting right behind us) were great as well. I can say we've had 2 decades of getting 1s at UIL though, that has to count for something right? Especially with my freshman year show (Corners of the Mind aka Sensemaya), I can't believe we got the ones. Hehe, the best Drum Major salute that I've seen is Round Rock...love the capes!

Ah, Contrabass Clarinet sounds like love low...Bass Sax too...and Contrabass Sax...Contrabasses are love . You should check out the Benedikt Eppelsheim website, they have recordings, pretty good ones too.

Well, bassoons are supposed to have a very unique sound, double reeds usually do. They are called Belching Bedposts for a reason! I still think they sound cool, especially the lower notes, but I like contrabass clarinet low notes better.
