Remember the following... Pasadena Memorial Maverick Band. Our dictator can beat up your dictator. we are marching with jet packs this year with 2000 sets total. the music will include all works of George Gershwin, Grainger, Mozart, and C.M. Von Weber's 2nd Concerto for Clarinet. top that....haha

Holy.. that was insane. "Pre-K Japanese kids...marching & playing drums pretty freakin well! The girl w/the sax isn't playing an actual one...it's a "midi" sax. So she's pressing the keys & blowing through the horn...but not actually playing it. This film was featured @ Dr.Tim Lautzenheiser's clinic @ TBA where he was making the point that a director should never say their band can't do something" this is the description. so i'm guessing he made his point quite clear. Go Asians!

***update*** the director of SFA moved to start the new Pearland. everyone already knows. but i recently found out WHY. nobody at SFA liked him. he followed an amazing director that was great with the kids, and nobody really liked this newer guy. so, he left for the new school and start again.

we have 29 learned. we got rained out last thursday (the big flood and rain, houston people know what happened) we're finishing out the opener this afternoon
