disappointing indeed. however, a lot went wrong and I'm not surprised. Brazoswood, Spring, Woodlands CP was the top 3 for 5A in that order Dawson swept the 3A division, as they were the only band in that category. Hendrickson was 1st, Friendswood was 2nd in the 4A these were for prelims.

candy cane the "worm" Picasso fish...haha, we have a sax player that's nicknamed Picasso. during his freshman year, his marching was like a Picasso painting...lol

we've added a ton of visual stuff and modified sets and cleaned a ton. I've even called after-practice officer-run sectionals through UIL. I really hope we do well and make finals and march well this saturday. our best performances are still being left on the practice field.

personally, i think the 56s are real easy to play (4s out of the box), but gimme a blue box over V12s any day. the other brands are too soft.

According to one of them, "The preview DVD booth was louder than the entire stadium" and that the Amazing Grace was just breathtaking. Can someone describe this show more fully to me? I heard that the color guard was simulating the bloodshed of warfare. also discuss anything else about this show / band.

clear brook has always been a huge band in this most recent time imo. same for berkner. hopefully Pasadena Memorial has been gaining some credibility over the past few years.

for my serious answer, our band goes for the cleanest of clean with the hardest possible crazy Cavalier-like sets and visuals (our drill writer - George Hester - marched both Spincycle and Frameworks, so the Cavs have much influence on his work)

just found out that we made 9/18 5A bands.....sucks. this better wake up some of the underclassmen - there were a ton of bands that we should NEVER place below that beat us out. congrats to Cy Springs though.

oh okay. when he said that he was in marching band, i searched for a video of them, but only 1991-93 would come up.

do you know where to get the full results?? we almost fell apart in the middle of the last movement. a senior sax player rushed sooooo horribly much. of course, he had to be marching by a ton of freshmen, who in turn almost had their heads explode from the confusion.

Pasadena Memorial High School 2-0 (4-0-1) we beat the Dobie Longhorns, 44-0, finally breaking the 41 pt curse (we scored 41 pts in 3 games straight, since the first game was called for rain at 7-7)

we are marching at 1:15PM. there are awards and stuff for this contest??? we never stay...lol
