i haven’t heard much about colleyville this year. how are they doing?

All 1s from Region 24 in 4a, 5a, and 6a

goes to show how stacked this contest was this year with some amazing bands missing finals

i would see Lebanon Trail or Burleson Centennial over Hays or Foster, but i haven’t really seen those bands yet. how are they shaping up now that it’s mid season?

I’ve heard indirectly from both a Flower Mound guard member and band parent that they have dropped BOA DFW to focus on UIL. Anyone know anything about this?

we had custom show tops, hats, and plumes for Primal but they came in the week following BOA DFW because of supply chain issues with who we ordered from. needless to say we switched companies this year lol

Mineola Brass: Lone Star Woodwind: Lone Star Percussion: Boswell Music: Lone Star Guard: Lone Star Visual: Lone Star Some interesting jumps, namely Anna 6th to 2nd, causing Independence, Celina, and Boswell to all drop one place. Proud of how we did at Lone Star. Boswell deserved that percussion caption, I heard them from our warmup lot and they are INSANE. Some strong displays from 4A.

we in fact did not make finals in 2021, we got 16th. we made finals in 2019

Yeah it’s been a strong lineup since at least 2019, and idk why they cancelled, it was announced just this morning that they’re going to Melissa

Lone Star is now going to Melissa, apparently LE showcase was cancelled

actually a great and reasonable list of predictions. we’ll see how everyone does with their shows and maybe this will change

for sure, their programming was good last year so we’ll see how they do this time around lone star has a really hard music book this year, and it is way harder than anything previous years have done, so if they can pull it off it will be good

i think they’ll do good, but it will be tough to break into the top 4 state qualifiers if mckinney north keeps up their momentum this year and with wakeland back in the mix

lone star is looking to return to finals, and hopefully not get 2019’d (6th prelims 12th finals)

oh man this is getting pretty heated lol I'm glad wakeland gets a good way to end their season off. I'm genuinely sad they won't be at area with us, I would have liked another chance to fight it out with them, regardless of the outcome

I think McKinney Boyd is a dark horse in this competition. Their brass is sounding REALLY good early season, I can see them easily in top 5, even 3.
