thanks! with the improvements we've made this current week, i think we could pull off an upset

independence here, judges were extremely inconsistent all around for us; in prelims one judge gave our brass 10th while the other two gave us 2nd and 3rd, honestly just a weird judging system imo. Anna is a great band though, i congratulate them.

as a member of the independence band, we are almost certainly going to end up back to back with argyle at area

late response but congrats everyone! i’m from independence and we were within 2 ordinal points of argyle. hoping to do even better next year and possibly make state for the first time! mckinney north has to be the most awesome show i’ve ever seen, and i’ve seen bands like hebron and flomo. just incredible show design and so much brass power for a small band.

mckinney north is very good this year; placed just behind them at the little elm contest yet they still crushed us

i’m in the independence band, thank you! we loved plano seniors show, saw braswell but unfortunately missed rock hill because we were warming up for finals. such a fun and surprising contest overall!
