I think Rockwall-Heath is a contender to make area finals. Their clarity, tone, and blending of voice has increased significantly over the past year and they have finally translated it to the marching field. Their marching has gotten better as well, it seems like they have no weak links compared to the previous years. Although Royse City, is not really a prestigious event, I believe Heath can carryon their momentum into Area. Heath is ready to finally make 6a area finals in their 4th 6a area appearance.

Whats your current rankings from bands that have performed

I feel bad for the earliest bands, I'm guessing they're call time is extremely early

I can't wait for this years area. Not because my band is so much better than last year and hopefully have a chance at making finals but just the sheer amount of great bands in this area.

They got 17th last year

Honestly i dont rate Byron Nelson that high this year

I'm not sure about Rowlett over Heath. Yes, Rowlett got a higher ranking at Royse City but I heard throughout the whole Royse City competition, there was a judging inconsistency. I honestly think Heath is the better band but I could be wrong. Like flute4flight said, that Heath's not done with their show so I think it be cleaned up more. At Mckinney, I heard Rockwall had a terrible run, I honestly Heath has a bigger chance to make finals then Lewisville.

One thing that sucks for 13-15 bands, they perform really early. So the judges can forget, their performances after watching 25+ bands. Who knows maybe Royse City or other bands can change the trajectory of the results.
