i really like this list, I would LOVE to see argyle in state finals for their first 5A appearance, if you haven’t seen it, their show is really cool.

this got a little intense quickly! GE is complicated, but rest assured all judges go through training to understand how it is scored. regardless, congrats to all bands that competed in this comp, one of the toughest regional comps!

I wasn’t able to watch, how was the FISD Showcase? anything important to note?

As someone from an FISD Program I absolutely agree, we are lucky to have the funding that we do, but most/all schools have our own fundraising programs internally outside of district funding. Which we work for, and we work toward the goal of state finals. The smaller school model works for our district, and we all work extremely hard to get where we are.

Different judging panel, and scores were very close at area. A lot can change between area and state.
