Actually quite decent this year. I bought and haven't really had any problems. The video quality randomly dropped to 144p for about 30 seconds during cedar parks run but other than that it's been good. It's no Box5 but it's much improved from 2022.

Well on the bright side if it is official that's an extra rehearsal day to clean the show 😅

It does seem odd to put it on election day but I'm looking at the forcast for the week and that's currently the closest day without a high chance of pop up storms

Just received news from a friend who goes to Rockwall that Area has been moved to Tuesday due to bad weather.

I honestly have no clue who is taking that last spot for this area 😅

They were only 2 spots off from making finals I believe they got 14th.

Don't forget that Lakeview Centennial is getting bumped down to 5a. They were only 3 spots from state while in 6a so I can see them possibly making top 3 this year!

I say Argyle might still have a chance to state this year, but it's really going to depend on show design. For finals last they got 8th, 4th, 4th, for music and 5th, 5th for visuals, and they managed to pass the Colony by 1 point to get 4th. Considering Wakeland practically sweeped area in 2021 I can see them doing the same again, so Argyle can't allow any weaknesses in their show, they're gonna have to go all out, but now that they have seen what 5a competition is like, I believe their show will adapt. The question is, if Argyle does make it again who's gonna get bumped out?

I'm gonna say this is the year Wakeland will make finals. They've had really solid shows for the last 2 years and have been just short of making a finals slot. If they can keep up the momentum I'd say they'll manage to place 10th-14th

I feel bad for Rockwall Heath. They are the first band and I believe they go at 8:15am. Hope the weather calms down beforehand otherwise it's gonna be a cold and wet day for everyone.

I've been trying to find the bands that are attending tomorrow and have been searching for the past week but have found nothing. Does anyone happen to have a schedule for the comp. tmrw or know any band that is going (so far all i know is north mesquite and I think poteet)?
