Wylie HS in WGI Finals for the first time in school history!! SO proud of these kids and their directors!

Anyone know why the 10 point T&P deduction for Wakeland?? That’s massive.

Yes, it’s been officially announced that Heuer is going to Wylie High.

Wylie HS feeder program looking strong as their JV & Junior guards take 1st in their respective divisions at NTCA championships!

Wylie HS had a great night too with all 3 guards (Junior/JV/Varsity) winning their respective divisions.

I’m excited to see Sachse. Their guard really impressed me during marching season.

Too bad they didn’t have D #3 in place for Area J this year 😭

The award for the most bands represented in finals from the same state goes to…TEAM TEXAS!!!

That pretty much sums up Texas weather!! 🤪😂

Anyone get a finals video of Wylie you can send me? 🙏🏽 Bonus if it includes the sax soloist where you can actually see him at the end. I promise I’m not a creeper- the soloist is my son, and my husband wasn’t able to see the finals run from the front.

Yes- finals will start at 6pm. Reverse placement order. Awards at 10:15pm after D-ville exhibition performance.

I got to see Wylie High & Wylie East at their district band night last week and they will be coming in 🔥 to Prosper today! Best of luck to all of the bands competing, I hope you have your best run yet!!

Naaman Forest also competed in prelims but opted out of finals…I think due to their Hoco dance tonight? I got to see Sachse in finals. They were fantastic! Wylie’s exhibition performance was impressive too. I haven’t seen any recaps yet.

Lebanon Trail competed at Melissa this past weekend and got 4th behind Lone Star, Rock Hill & McKinney HS.

Did Wylie East have any penalties? How was their show?
