Well for the 5A division A&M Consolidated recieved 1st place. Our school, Bush HS, recieved 2nd. We recieved straight ones from all 6 judges, so we did ok. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z84zeBtwz5U The real deal is this weekend at Katy and next Tues. at UIL *crosses fingers*

Here at Bush High, we have two of our top trumpets marching Revolution. I've been to some of the camps, but parents said no no due to the money thing and time. Oh well. But make sure to check them out if you're in the Houston area in The exSIGHTment of SOUND on July 20.

Here in Fort Bend ISD we have Nathan Carter, our head director at Bush HS, moving to the new Travis High School opening in the fall. And we will be getting, from what I heard from our other directors, Mr. Soto who is currently the director at Hightower HS. It's going to be interesting how our band will take the change, both in directors and the fact that half our band will be going to the new Travis HS. It kinda sucks because we've made big leaps in improvement with our band under Mr. Carter. Oh well, hopefully change can be good.
