  1. I just notice that too haha a little fun fact.
  2. agree!! 7-12 would look very different, but it unlikely
  3. my finals prediction 1. Jordan 2. dickson 3. Fulshear 4. Clements 5. Spring 6. Pasadena Memorial 7. Paetow 8. Clear Falls 9. Laporte 10. Barber Hill
  4. I’m very curious on Jordan and fulshear draw time for BOA north Houston, bc it almost a hour traveling from Alvin to Shenandoah. im guessing fulshear is late afternoon for BOA and Jordan maybe late afternoon or early morning
  5. Jordan posted a video of the drill on social media (with no music). It looks really cool Jordan HS Warrior Band (@jordanwarriorband) • Instagram photos and videos
  6. I agree on this, but they are going to a BOA contest in north Houston. Good luck to Freeman HS!
  7. here our judges for Area I Albert Lo Mike Pickrell James Rees Ferd Vollmar Peter Warchaw Judging Panels – UIL Music Region 23
  8. Cool! I just found out that Jordan has a new music arranger for their 2024 season!
  9. here my very early predictions most of these have no order 1. Bridgeland 2. Cy-Fair 3. Cy-Woods 4-6. Seven Lakes, Jordan, Tompkins - no order 7-10. possible bands Katy, JET, Cy-Ranch, Langham Creek, Cinco Ranch, possibility Paetow? - still no order
  10. maybe for like top 3 1. Seven Lakes 2. Jordan 3. Tompkins
  11. we got some new bands out of the Houston area!!! can’t wait to see them
  12. I’m pretty sure Freeman is only taking students from Katy and Paetow. I do know their band will be really small because Freeman's enrollment will be around 700 students. In comparison, when Jordan first opened, it had around 1,200 students, and about 70ish people were in the band. My best estimate of band members is that it could be similar to Tompkins 2013 show when it first opened.
  13. That correct! Rory Davis, the former director of Cinco, has moved to Freeman HS. He is assisted by a former junior high band director (I’m pretty sure). I can’t confirm on the new design team at Cinco Good luck to this brand new school! 🍀
  14. you forgot Paetow!!!! It's very hard to rank Freeman because we haven't seen their band yet, but I'd be surprised if they make the finals.
  15. The list is looking pretty good!!! Now, off the top of my head, I'm guessing TWHS will take the win here. 1. the woodlands 2. Cy-Fair 3. Clear Brook 4. Friendswood 5-7. SFA, Klein Oak, Wylie East (no order) 8-12.(possible bands) Jordan, Dawson, College Park, Oak Ridge, Fulshear, Foster, Tompkins, Tomball Memorial
  16. it could be risk because Jordan has a possibility of beating 7L and maybe winning. Without a doubt, Jordan probably wants to beat some highly competitive bands at Lonestar Preview, such as Clear Brook, Bridgeland, Cy-Fair, Pearland, and others.
  17. yes, that how we exactly did it in 2021, but there were no finals at the katy contest during that time.
  18. It appears that Jordan is attending Lonestar Preview too. (same day as the katy contest) It's going to be a hard decision if they make finals at both the Katy Contest and Lonestar Preview, unless they decide to drop Lonestar Preview.
  19. There are 96 days left until September 1, when we can actually see some shows on YouTube. 😏
  20. Area E has changed a lot since the 2020-2022 realignment. Weren't there about 18 bands that went to this area? Now there are going to be over 40 bands if they all make it. I remember 2021 where 7 bands in finals and 3 went to state. The bands in this area weren't playing around lol.
  21. Likely hood of a tie this year? Maybe? Jordan , Tompkins, 7L , Cy Ranch are rising for sure and wasn’t there a 3-way tie back in 2021 in this area for 1st place?
  22. I think their drill was too hard. It seems the drill wasn't clean at the beginning of the season from videos.
  23. cinco ranch! 😮 It's kind of strange that Jordan hasn't registered for BOA North Houston after their success in 2022. And it seems JET Band (James E. Taylor HS) dropped this contest.
  24. seven lakes: “for whom the bells tolls”
  25. Such as 2022 where the judges were all over the place
