    I thought the draw order isn’t the order where bands get randomly assigned but it turns out that the schedule is the exact same as the draw order.

    I thought the finals was random for Uil area there is even a separate draw order unique for finalists bands

    Did they have some technical difficulties or something, or did the directors not notice the clock and they started late? Either way it sucks to miss out on area over a few seconds.

    My predictions 1. The woodlands 2. College Park 3. North Shore 4. Tomball Memorial 5. Klein Oak 6. Tomball 7. Klein Cain 8. Spring 9. Oak ridge 10. Klein Collins Bubble bands: Grand Oaks, Klein Collins, Klein, and maybe new caney, or Westfield. Honestly I really think 10-6 are pretty interchangeable and 2-5 feel pretty interchangeable too.

    A lot of the bands from this area are seeing some significant improvements over the past few years and it’s definitely going to be interesting to see which bands make state. This area is becoming a bloodbath relative to the skill of all the programs in this area. That 5th or 6th state spot is going to be heavily contested.

    I may be biased but I think you’re underrating Tomball their show this year is the best designed it has ever been.

    Putting grand oaks above Klein oak and Klein Cain might be a bit much but overall I agree with this list

    I’m gonna bet that tmhs is going to fall to 5a for a few years since twhs is going to take more tmhs kids than ths kids.

    They probably would have dropped if they went to nats as twhs also dropped with a better run.

    There is too many good shows and bands this year and it sucks because only 14 makes finals. Every band should be proud today because these performances have been stunning.

    TMHS’s show is good it’s just that they aren’t very clean. If they managed to clean it up from region then I think they will make state.

    No north shore? Also this is Uil so general effect is less of a factor so I doubt that tmhs will get carried enough be placed above Klein oak.

    It’s hard because I like TMHS’s show but it’s just really messy so I don’t know how it will fare in Uil compared to the boa format.

    Soloist here. Yea I recognize where it is from in pictures at an exhibition but, I do know it’s a bit out of place.

    I have a question why are you so interested in Tomball high school when there are so many other schools with cooler or more interesting shows?

    If we had the rep that we had in lone Star prelims I don’t think Tomball will even make finals nevertheless make state also this is boa so General Effect is less of a factor than for Boa so TWHS will definitely take first.

    Funny thing is after morning rehearsal the parents loaded the screens without the screen cover and that’s why it was just the empty screen on the prelims run. I find it interesting that you interpreted that as picture frames but it kinda fits.

    Tomball memorial isn’t going to lone star preview. Tomball high school is however. They are two distinct schools.

    Updated predictions based off of latest contests results 1. Bridgeland - 5th at an extremely competitive boa katy 2. Clear Brook - 1st at gulf coast, 2nd at boa Conroe 3. Klein Oak - 3rd at boa Conroe 4. College park - 5th at boa Conroe 5. Brasoswood - 11th at boa katy 6. Dickinson - haven’t seen them but heard great things about them 7. Klein Cain - haven’t seen but heard some good things about them 8. Tomball - 4th at gulf coast classic 9. Klein Collins - haven’t seen them but heard good things about them. 10. Grand Oaks - 7th at gulf coast classic.
