Ok, my last Area C 24 post, unless drawn back in! Any Waxahachi people here? My 6th grader daughter was worried about the young marcher that tripped, stumbled, and fell pushing a section of your city. My daughter audibly gasped and was worried about you. This girl bravely made it to standline? Stood with head held high despite clearly being upset and probably in pain. Finally hiding under a front ensemble piece until show over. Bless you, know that my daughter prayed for you and hopes your ok and ready for state.

Where my Berkner peeps at? You have some great kids….my daughter is in 6th grade band and came out last night to see her brothers in finals. She wad sad they didn’t make state but she thought it was so cool that Berkner band kids were building each other up and talking about how proud they were to make finals. Thank you. Little Ears are always listening?

Shout out to the 4 state qualifiers from Area C! There were some great marches last night!

Life is hard…things happen. We make the best of it. These bands didn’t get a “do over” because of lightning. Hardly a competitive advantage.

Rockwall Heath. Way to work hard throughout the season and get better with each performance. Felt today was best music I have heard from them. Way to go. Let’s get both RISD bands in finals!

Irving….ok Irving. You might not be a large and powerful band but you make some beautiful sounds. Really enjoyed the mid show soloist. You fill the field despite your size. Awesome job. Should be very proud of your show!

Lake Highlands…enjoyed the drum-line a lot. The durling trios was interesting. Some great sounds throughout. Not sure what to make Of the moment where everyone kneels for colorguard dance but still very solid. I think they will make finals.
