    I think Frenship just missed making finals at BOA in Midland. So I think with the improvements they've made since then they will come up on top. I do think Midland will do well at UIL too though.

    I agree with your 4A predictions. I think West Plains will probably make finals which would be awesome for their very first year. Hereford made state last year but think they will miss it this year. 6A, also agree about Permian and Frenship for spots one and two. I think maybe Midland for the last spot.

    I know Area A doesn't get a lot of attention but I wanted to see what the thoughts were on Area A contest this weekend!

    Thanks for the review!! I've seen them perform and loved the theme. The bassoonist was my absolute favorite part of their show, so sad y'all missed hearing it better.

    Me too. They had a solid show and went to state last year so I don't know what happened. I think maybe judges were tough this year. Out of 28 bands only 16 moved to Area.

    Only 3 get to move on from Area A to State in 4A unfortunately. Several bands that always get Division 1 at regions got Division 2.
