Definitely slept on, though it fits the theme with the big bed prop in the show. Congrats for them they went from getting 2s at Region to being certified to Area now consistently. 👏 -

It literally all comes down on if the judges are on their medication that day. Because if we see scores like 2 12 7 10 18 It's gonna be a long day 😭 -

At this very moment, UIL Area E is the most popular 6A predicted Area in Texas right now! Well for now, in the predictions tab. About 65 lists by the time I'm typing this 63 being Area C I think -

So to reiterate, the bands looking to point their way into finals, and upset Regular Finalists are Foster Pasadena Memorial Fulshear George Ranch Travis Elkins Ridge Point Bands who have made finals more than once in 6A Area E recently - Pearland, Dawson, Dickinson, Austin, Clear Brook, Clements, Brazoswood, Clear Lake, Clear Falls, Shadow Creek, (10 Bands) Yeah, honestly this area deserved 12 finalists gosh these bands are good, it's amazing. -

Watch them at Area I wouldn't be surprised if they kicked somebody out who usually makes finals. A lot of schools are at risk of missing finals all together. It's getting crazy. -

What's the rain date? November 5th? If it is and it actually happens, we might see even crazier results. -

Saw it at the Alvin Invitational, loved it. It's Phoenix themed or something like that. They have flower props on the field. Very good show. -

I argue that you aren't looking at bands like Clear Lake, Shadow Creek, Pasadena Memorial, Clear Falls. I just looked at the scores for Gulf Coast, and Clear Lake was one judge away from beating Clear Brook. They have the show. They all do. I have doubts for Clements and Brazoswood, they have had the slowest starts in both their respected bands. Brazoswood lost to George Ranch at BOA, and Tomball in USBands, and Clements has showed similar results. They both might have names that hold the value of making state, and being some of the best no doubt. Though at the end of the day judges, don't look at how good you were. But don't leave anybody out just yet. And if yall wanted to know Dickinson got straight ones at gulf coast. Brook was 2,3,3,2,2 Lake 3,2,2,3,3. -

It all depends if the judging is consistent, next Saturday. (It usually never is) unfortunately we will see bands that get a like a 8 from one judge and like a 17 from another, but hopefully bands will get scored with no outrageous gaps -

A Darkhorse for Area Finals quite definitely! Travis seems to have dedicated alot to their program this year, and ik they made BOA finals but I feel with the competition present there, they could have done it with the same schools if it was any other year, but still amazing job. I did look over the battle of the berry results, when it happened, and it did really get me thinking about Travis, Travis usually being a bubble band, getting 11th in 2022 and about around 14th in 2018 2021, and 2023. So they've always been there, and they could break through this year. BUT one thing that might hold Travis back is the drawing time, and being the first to perform on the field, so Travis really has to lay it all down. -

A darkhorse show, is really a band that was expected to not really do well at all, and just pops off, and has an amazing show. Cinco Ranch, and Pasadena Memorial are great examples, because they didn't really have much success at all in their programs for like the past few years or even their entire school history. But these bands are actively changing the norm this year, and showing that change is everything. Any band can improve, and be better, these people show that it's possible, and that's what people love to see. -

Very unlikely, but they are a Darkhorse as Oboeish20 said. It's about clean clean, and improving overall sound, and visuals. A new ateendee might be Foster, they can most likely definitely pull it off after being promoted to 6A. Pasadena Memorial is fun, it's fun checking in every week with them because they post every run publicly unlike others, they either add some crazy choreo or new drill. Definitely rooting for them, idk about State, but I'm sure making Area Finals is their top priority after advancing for their first time last year in school history -
