I really hope UIL reschedules at this point. Saturday is looking to be storming all day. It’d be a shame if there was some funkiness due to weather.

Timber got all 1s

My go once again for this comp Cedar Ridge Timber Creek Dripping Springs Bowie Westlake Hendrickson 7 Lakes MG Johnson Aledo Keller Central Sachse Burleson Centennial I like Cedar Ridge to win this competition. I think Timber Creek can potentially edge out Dripping Springs. They had a rest week after getting 5th at BOA DFW. That and I heard they have made a couple of big changes to their show. Dripping Springs will return for blood this weekend after their TMC placement. I can see 6-9 going anyway. That will be super competitive. Also, don't sleep on Keller Central! They have had a rough start to the year but after making BOA North Texas finals they are back!

General thoughts I have from last night Hebron. Wow. What a show. I cannot wait to see what they do this season because they completely took me away. Same with Flower Mound. Their show was so colorful and full of emotion. Lewisville ISD will be super fun to watch this year (as always) Wakeland's show was super feel-good and brought a smile to my face. I enjoyed it. I think they will take 5A by storm. Same with Aledo. I cannot wait to see Asphalt Cocktail on the field!! Timber Creek made school history as well! This was their first time scoring in the top half of finals at this competition. Their show was fantastic and their score was deserved. Keller and Bell. I was shocked I saw them placed so low. It feels weird hearing their name announced that early. I am sure they will bounce back from this competition. Lonestar. What. A. Show. Amazing use of colors and the trombone solo in the ballad was really beautiful. I love the theme and the music brought me chills from how well it was played. Overall amazing job to all of the ensembles that performed today. It was truly a magical night.

Idk. After watching BOA Dallas, I think TC will do amazing this year. They got top half at one of the hardest BOA's all season while beating out Keller, and Bell. But we will see where it goes!

Man this is one of my favorite comps every year. Here's my prediction for this competition! Hebron (GE and Music) Flower Mound (Visual) Coppell Wakeland TC LD Bell Keller Forney Waxahachie Keller Central Rock Hill Lone Star/SLC/Aledo After making this list man this year is STACKED. I separated all of the groups that I think their placements can go any way, like Keller, Bell, and TC can go either way. Good luck to all of these great schools!

This comp is a bloodbath! Coppell Bell Keller Timber Creek Keller Central Haltom SLC Lake ridge Martin Trinity Boswell SGP 4 (potentially 3) state spots is brutal for this area. I still have Coppell, Bell, Keller, and Timber going. I see Keller Central also having a good outcome at this competition. It's sad to see so many talented schools not advance
