I’m surprised Vista wasn’t #1 or 2 in brass

Yes, as a vandy fan I’ve felt this way ever since they moved to a percussionist for all their music arranging in 2022. Though the shows won back to back state championships, they haven’t had musical “heart”. Would love to see their new director try a different brass arranger next year (while keeping Markworth for percussion writing where he is excellent).

Wow Hebron! So many amazing moments. Screamer trumpets super impressive. Cleaned up a ton since State.

Carmel was fantastic! Something about it was giving me old school Phantom Regiment vibes.
