Do you know Duncanville's show theme this year? Don't think I've seen it anywhere.

Holy crap... Only nine bands???? I swear last year this comp had a good 20. Are more bands only attending BOA comps now?

Top three is between Berkner, Lake Ridge, and Colleyville again, I don't see fourth-tenth place swapping around that much. Lake Ridge has some pretty intense double tonguing, Berkner sounds like a concert band, and Colleyville has the best visual. Just a brawl between the three to see who can come out on top with the best overall show.

what does a shotgun mic exactly do for marching band? Increase the sounds of certain players, or the whole band?

Why would they restrict this competition to so little available state spots? This is after all one of the most competitive areas and I believe that this area needs the most spots able to take bands to state. I seriously think this is unfair for any bands that were on the rise, as now we will only see the same bands every year....

Hello, arch nemesis.

This is one of the earliest competitions I am aware of, and a pretty disastrous one at times. Assuming the schedule is similar to last year, how do y'all feel about how current bands will place?

I got to see Lake Ridge at their meet the band night! They seem to have a much better show design than last year and more difficult music. Mansfield went down in size a lot, lost a good portion of their band. Legacy is as strong as ever, love their sound for their size. Lake Ridge did seem to struggle a little bit with timing and things, however im going to their game tonight so i'll let you know!(Hoping it wont be as hot as hades)

How was lake ridge?

In my opinion it will totally depend on the weather that morning. Mornings tend to be colder making instruments for flat and obvious other reasons. While afternoon slots can normally be pretty alright weather wise.(as of right now) However morning times as soon as the season starts is better. In terms of judging the time slots shouldn't really matter.

Besides Coppell getting first, i genuinely have no idea what will happen at finals in this competition.

I’m seeing a lot of mixed opinions about Keller, have they improved or no?

Saw them at region since I live relatively close to region 5, and they definitely got cleaner. Volume and sound wise got better but is still not as much as last year. Drill and visual wise they improved greatly, but sound wise they went down a little bit. Their music is also not very impactful, it has little to no big hits that make me go wow. However the band as a whole is still beautiful sounding.

I personally still see Lake Ridge at third, however I believe LT has a chance to beat them considering how close their scores were last year. I see growth from both of them, and that's why i still see Lake Ridge above. Flomo is an obvious.(SOMEONE TELL ME THEIR SHOW THEME PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW!!!)Lone star is looking and sounding amazing, I would say better than last year so I believe they will take the second spot. Although, it could be close between lone star and lake ridge.

So was colleyville music just Bad? Don’t see how someone can get three captions meaning they shined brighter in 3 different areas then get second. Also Berkner was good but……

Sad that Aledo isn't going I loved their sax last year! Yeah, Id say Lake ridge will take this competition which will be awesome because it will be their first time beating Colleyville. Which is also a great sign for their season this year. If they do not end up winning I'm going to guess it was very close, however this competition is known for having poor judging.(Thats why no one is going lol)

Supeerrrrr excited for Duncanville show this year. Their theme is a very interesting theme with good music, and ive also heard that they have a different uniform for every section. Which will be amazing visually on the field.

Besides the minor tempo issues it seems to have, looks amazing I also got to take a look at legacies show which is coming along smoothly.
