The Northwest High School Honors Band is playing Persichetti's 6th symphony, Fiesta Del Pacifico by Roger Nixon or Ride by Samuel Hazo, and for a march we're looking at both Circus Bee(Freakin Killer) by Henry Fillmore or Percy Grainger's "The Gum-Suckers" March.

What do you think of the '07 DCI shows?

I went to camp at Northwestern State University in Louisiana with Mark Minton as an instructor, and I totally agree with Dan. It changed my life and has prepared me to be a great leader not only for next marching season but also for the rest of my life.

I think I'm going to a camp at UT Arlington. I haven't really decided yet, though. I can't wait, I know it's going to be a blast.

Christmas is cool except when all the radio stations start playing Christmas songs 2 months in advance. It's bad because by the time it is Christmas, your soo fed up with it that you just want to get it over with.

Yeah... justa little strange. Dude, I tried playing on of the bass bone etudes on my friends bass bone, it was ccrazzzy. When I was waiting at region, I was talking to some bass bones, and one of them had a very acurate description of it. He said "It's like someone took a shotgun and shot a peice of paper, and then said Hey! Let's make it an etude out of this. I had to share that. I thought it was hilarious.

What did you think of them?

Does anyone know some good stuff that has to do with flight? A little bird flew into my ear and told me that that's what my high school is doing next year... also phantom is doing it for '07 so there must be some pretty good music based on it. Could you give me some names and composers?

Ohhhh man I'm soo happy that Crossmen moved here... it makes hings a little easier for me. I'm planning on trying out in a couple years.
