  2. I'm going to Apply at UT-Alrington.
  3. Bowie closing with "Music of the Night" gave me chills. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
  4. Dude, i love this show. Especially William Tell. One of my favorite peices.
  5. I like the kids from Coppell. I've made some pretty good friends with kids from that school at the state marching contest. good times.
  6. I loveeeed Bowie. LD Bel was pretty good. I liked our show, only because it was completely unique. not many people to shows about clowns.
  7. Six Sonatas for Trombone, Johann Ernst Galliard. It's pretty good stuff.
  8. Haha. Well, at my school almost everyone screws around. There's always people during practice or rehearsal that will screw something up because they were talking to other people or they just plain weren't paying attention. But then again, it seems that maybe about a week before contest everyone gets super serious about it and neve screw around. I just kind of wish that it would be like that the whole time so that we sould have more time to polish instead of taking soooo long to learn new drill because people are continously messing around.
  9. Man, I am a HUGE Phantom fan. I have almost every show of theirs, but my dad's alumni for SCV and he got me hooked on them. So I'm kind of split down the middle.
  10. it did sound awesome, but I just think it's one of those things that shouldn't be aloud on the football field. it's great in the concert hall.
  11. I want to start out with this first. The Cadets have been and are a great corps, especially with their shows in the 80's, such as Appalacian Spring. So don't get me wrong, I have no beef against them. They have great stuff, but their '06 show didn't make me too happy. it's cool if you have the corps sing for a little bit, but I just don't think it's right to amplify a singer and have the music of the show revolve around her vocals. I am not going to lie, their hornline and drumwork was pristine. They sounded great. They didn't really get to show off their stuff, though. everything was based around the singer. I can understand if you want to be the cutting edge corps and do new things, but you don't have to go to this extreme to be great. Your opinions would be appreciated.
  12. Deffinitely going with white... i love white uniforms.
  13. hmmmm... almost all the dci show that have finished in the top twelve have been amazing. if i had to pick one, maybe '87 Santa Clara, '06 Phantom was amazing too.
