I meant to put this, richardson got 5th at US bands Dallas (1st in music in prelims) and 3rd in 6a

RISD seems to be becoming a massive district for band, although berkner might drop to 5A pretty soon, it just leaves room for someone else to take that state spot

I agree mostly though Richardson is doing insane this year musically, they beat Burleson Centennial in music at US bands Dallas prelims on saturday by quite a bit, I wouldn't rule them out of top 7 just yet. also I think Pearce and Berkner should be placed above d-ville and Lake highlands for sure, having seen pearce's growth, and berkner just as good as last year.

Richardson beating Centennial in music in prelims was unexpected, but well deserved, their opener was insanely balanced, mellos were really clean In the brass feature (talking about prelims) , and overall great. I'm sad they didn't have their best finals run, but glad they kept their placement in top 5. Also the tarp was pretty cool and probably a logistical nightmare. Can't wait to see how they do at BOA waco I only got to see Richland in finals but their guard was great, and great job to that Sousa that fell and got back up in time, master of puppets is a great piece and they did amazing. Centennial's percussion was insane (as usual) and I really liked the show theme, also can't wait to see them at BOA Waco. Congrats to north forney on 2nd place, I was NOT expecting that but again, well deserved, although I only got to see a video of them. Byron Nelson was great, I loved the show theme, and the sax duet was crazy. So many shows using interstellar this year, and I love it. Overall cant wait to see where these programs go

So many schools are having such amazing seasons already, I can't wait to see who ends up on top.

Richardson Has a comp this week and I will update after, at the berkner game last week they seemed really good, I could see them and Pearce doing really well this year
