I’d say the same for myself. Some of the bubble bands just have maintained a level of competitiveness that I think they will build on this year. Unfortunately that means bands like cy parks/springs are gonna have a hard time placing higher.

I agree it’s hard to believe the top bands all managed to get a spot from noon to 4

Bands performing from 7-9 are gonna have a serious disadvantage

I feel the new “wet bulb” policy is starting to seriously affect some bands. If you look back a week at the temps no one has been able to go outside since.

Having 6 state spots and 12 finals spots would really allow some unlucky bands like Jv Langham and Paetow to show what there about.

I fully expected that to happen as they have increasingly gotten better since they’ve opened. It always fun having a band of that tier in your area.

Interesting topic for yall. Which schools do yall see making improvements in this area. Also what kind of surprises are you guys expecting.

Would you guys say boa is where more “dancy” bands or one with alot of choreo tend to place higher or not.

I would put 1. Seven lakes 2. Jordan 3. Tompkins Seven lakes has been a good program for some years and I think they take a step towards state finals this year.
