  1. Well, this is why I said, “In my biased opinion, China Spring won and would have won state had they not even made it past Area. Ha-ha. ”. LOL!! 😉😆😂🤣😂
  2. Yeah, China Spring performed their best run in finals. It was epic, solid, tight, clean, and euphoric in how it all culminated. I feel like their complete package delivered. Way to go, Cougs!
  3. At the end of the day, China Spring left it all on the field and performed their hearts out. This was amazing and I am so proud. What honor to play with so many amazing bands from so many amazing schools. Go Cougs!
  4. Great job, Sulphur Springs! A great run that should get y’all to finals!!
  5. Great run China Spring. Leave it all on the field & be proud of all you have done this year. Be better than your previous performances! Solid sound, great lines, strong solos, well synced color guard, and overall strong performance.
  6. I am so proud of China Spring. They had their best performance yet for the year to date, and we have not yet started UIL. This is a constant improvement everttime for an 4A band, and they are weeks ahead of previous years. Whatever the judges may say, I know they rocked it, executed well, performed beautifully, and added that extra passion that makes me love high school band. I’m content and proud of my son and the band. There are a lot of schools here, so it has been an honor. It is an honor to play right after VR Eaton, as they are goal to strive for. Great job to all the bands tonight!!
  7. Outstanding Bands in preliminaries: 2A - Alvor 3A - Grandview 4A - China Spring 5A - Heritage 6A - VR Eaton Standstill Awards: Color Guard: 1 - VR Eaton 2 - Alvarado Drumline: 1 - VR Eaton 2- Creekview 3 - Canton
  8. I’m not sure I necessarily agree. This seems very low risk, safe, and boring for the sake of just doing what the judges like versus doing your absolute best and making it the best show possible. I noticed that Argyle once they moved to 5A, this style does not seem to have the same results. So effectively, you are arguing that at 4A and below, they should play it safe, do a lot of solos to avoid exposing the rest of the band, and only execute the keys judge requirements. That’s not the music I enjoy, love, or support.
  9. So here are the times… Finalists 7:15 - Calallen 7:30 - West Plains 7:45 - Canyon 8:00 - North Lamar 8:15 - Davenport 8:30 - Panther Creek 8:45 - Anna 9:00 - Celina 9:15 - Sulfur Springs 9:30 - China Spring UIL Finals link:
