How’s it going so far?

Who has the best chance out of these bands?

How are we feeling abt this competition after the area results?

The way it’s looking like right now i believe there will be finals

oh my goodness… Pine Tree is a COMPLETELY different band than their princeton run. Everything is clean but their sound is still powerful. The drill looked very defined as well.

Getting there early to see pine tree!!

I feel like those schools that have gone to state will have a more favorable chance

If they move it inside will there still be one round? and will they do it early enough in the day?

Will it be moved to indoor even if it’s a little rain?

will they even be able to have the judges high enough up?

Is there a chance it’ll get canceled? Maybe there won’t even be a finals run at this point

Buddy of mines kid goes to PT and we can never find any videos of him other than the football games (yeah that kinda quality)

Also why shows like Canton and PT are overlooked because the shows are hard and they can barely execute them well. If they were able to pull the shows off there’s no chance any of these bands could come up to them.

HUGE ON THE DOING IT AT THE SAME TIME. I hate to be the person who says this but a lot of these shows have no hard music while marching. Most don’t truly challenge the marchers on field.

Van Alstyne is right on the edge for me. North Lamar always gets better towards the end of the year especially at Area. Van Alstyne, Lumberton, and Pine Tree are all bands that could be on the 6,7,8 places

Which band is it? No matter who even after a football game the day before and having to be on a bus for that long could be tiring

My predictions for the bands going to state after listening to the bands in person (trust me a bunch of money and gas lol) Sulphur Springs Celina North Lamar Farmersville Paris Pine Tree Lumberton

Oh trust me I fully believe Celina will make finals but maybe their placement at least

is there a video of them anywhere recently only band i haven’t seen so far

Im afraid the bands like Pine Tree and Celina aren’t gonna get scored well just cause they go early in the day and the judges haven’t seen all the good bands yet not to mention we start very early in the day.

I agree, most bands have that loud and big sound but also have balance and tone problems.

Looking at this the content part of it really sticks out to me. Not to put other bands down but most stay still while playing with just doing choreo. “Frequently/Demand of Movement while playing” that’ll be good for those bands that have very challenging music and also can do it well on the move with challenging drill.

I’m worried that those earlier bands will get put down because of how early they go in the day
