If 7-8 bands go to state then that means only 2-3 bands in finals won’t go right? on the fact they only take 10 to finals

Any results from region 9 yet?

I can’t say for sure because i’ve only seen Celina and Sulphur in person and i don’t want to take anything away from other bands. BUT i can say i’ve heard good things about all bands in this area. my personal predictions are 1. Sulphur 2. Celina 3. Farmersville 4. North Lamar 5. Pine Tree/Canton The end is where i get a little thrown off but i would love to hear everyone else’s predictions!!

I can say I share the same feeling. Sulphur Springs has been electric this year and that fight for 1st will definitely be a good one

How do we feel bands that haven’t been in this area before are going to do? Such as the bands from region 25 and a new 4A in Pine Tree

Area C next year is definitely going to change with Pine Tree coming into the mix

Just putting this out there for next year… Pine Tree is projected to be moving down to 4A next year. Do y’all think this will cause some changes or no?

How are we feeling so far?

I’m someone who only really knows about Area C so I can’t talk about the other schools but I can about these four. Forney: Amazing this year as always and their show is very good and it blew me away. North Mesquite: Their first time going to state with this AMAZING show. Personally my 2nd favorite out of this Area and so glad to see a Latin-style show. Poteet: I can’t say much as I missed their performance but I’ve heard they’re still very good. Even though they aren’t the way they used to be their show is one to watch Pine Tree: 1st time going to state in 38 years for this band I believe? I would personally love to see this band in finals considering I LOVED their show at Area, but knowing the amount of amazing bands here it will be very unlikely. (Sorry for deleting noticed some errors)

1-Forney 2-Poteet 3-North Mesquite 4-Pine Tree/West I haven’t personally seen West but i have seen Pine Tree. It could go either way depending on their runs but I would like to see a band like Pine Tree at State.

If i’m wrong someone please correct me… UIL is more for rewarding the execution of the show. While BOA/US bands is more for rewarding effect
