Maybe tell cy-fair to not build so many high schools jeez😭

My only concern for cinco ranch is the visual, that REALLY shows up from the press box at the berry center, here are my final predictions for area. 1. Cy-Woods(bold but I think there’s a chance, with area judges are more concerned with how cleanly one can perform usually, at state difficulty also comes into factor, go bears! Really enjoyed this show yesterday, the crowd LOVED it) 2. Bridgeland(I just think they need to clean up some things visually/musically, other than that very solid, and I will look forward to their show at GRAND NATS!!! Go wildcats! Enjoyed this show yesterday!) 3. Cy-Fair( cool show, most likely very clean right now, should look good, really enjoy the paper cranes!!! Go mustangs! Enjoyed this show yesterday) 4. Jordan(I think this show is a show headed to San Antonio this Saturday, love this group and their improvement man. Go rams!!) 5. Cinco Ranch(I think this show has great visual continuity, with the lemons, the impact moments are fairly clean and can be really effective with these judges, it’s just the cleanliness of the visual that bothers me a lot, could switch with seven lakes but I would love to see them get to state after what happened in 21’, go panthers! 6. Seven lakes( great show, just a step down from last year IMO, state is possible but the energy isn’t as “high” although I will say it’s SOLID, it’s a neat show overall, go cougars!) 7. JET( GREAT show, love the colors man lol, this could be a dark horse for state, really clean musically man, love the clarity and finesse, judges should score this well hopefully, go tigers!) 8. Tompkins( that opening hit is amazing, but the rest of the show doesn’t have the glimmer and shine that the opening does, but it’s nice nonetheless, overall I think it’s a step down from last year but that’s okay, I could see this switching with Cy-Ranch or Katy, go cubs!) 9. Cy-Ranch( I enjoyed this show yesterday, cool effective things going on generally, a possible dark horse with lots of potential, just needs to clean some things overall, go Spartans!) 10. Katy(I enjoy this show, nice show overall, I do understand freeman took some students from Katy so band size may have decreased just a bit, but overall it’s nice show, I really like the closer, could see langham creek switching out with Katy depending on how Saturday goes) ——————— 11. Langham Creek(it’s a nice show, things to clean of course but it’s definitely a dark horse to push into finals, wouldn’t be surprised to see them advance to area finals, I just think they need to have some more glimmer/shine in their shows to really make a huge statement to judges, go eagles) 12. Cy-Park(cool show, area finalist is possible 100% I really like the eyes haha, go lobos!) 13. JV(cool show, seems like they are taking it back a bit and just “laying low” for a bit, go cougars!)

Also, cypress ridge made a one just so everyone knows, kinda wanted that it just be out there!!

I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on the bands today and our bubbles like JV, Langham, Ranch, Parks and see how they compare

I think I’m really feeling this right here, id personally love to see Langham Creek and Cy-Ranch in finals together, Katy can make finals but some of the programs have stopped a bit compared to last year and some of the others like the ones I’ve mentioned, have shot up.

One thing I WILL say, is that I’m happy to see that as the years go on we see some 16-24th ranked bands move up on into the 15-12th range, for example cypress springs last year, I think mayde creek could graduate up into that range this year, it makes sense when you have 11-13th range bands moving up into finals like Langham Creek Cy Ranch Paetow possibly, just really nice to see the “underdogs” make some NOISE!

Visually they beat out Elsik. So not bad?

Do you think there’s a chance that Cypress Woods could steal a caption from Bridgeland at UIL Area?

I hope with the Addition of freeman and Dunham pointe HS in the coming years from cy-fair and Katy, 12 finalist spots and 6 state spots are possible.

If 30 bands qualify for area, we very well could, meaning cypress park, cypress ranch, and langham creek would maybe be “locks for finals”

I remember doing this last year with the videos 😂, really fun.

I think that this weekend at region, will give us some possible insight and let us finally compare the bands here in area I, but truth be told, it’s all about who can get the cleanest in these next two weeks. But the week of area we will see who does get the cleanest. 1. Bridgeland(obviously, though just BIT concerned about cleanliness, they’ll be fine though, they always are) 2. Cy-Woods(imo, the show has great visual continuity, and use of electronics) 3. Cy-Fair(show not as heavy hitting as last year, but I think will be able to take this third spot and go to state) 4. Jordan(massive improvement, will be able to head to state and I can’t WAIT for that announcement, the stadium is going to light up) 5. 7L(very definite improvement, although I think they have been getting consistently weaker than past years, cinco ranch could make a statement here) 6. Cinco Ranch(not seen them a lot, but amazing show, only thing holding them down is their visual dirt, at the berry it can be very apparent, important they clean that up, but can make state) 7.JET(pretty strong, but I don’t think is as strong as the other groups above them) 8. Tompkins(not as big as last year, personally not a fan of the design, but seems pretty cool, I just don’t think it’s a “3rd” place design/execution for them again, still a strong contender 100%) 9. Cy-Ranch(not seen them a whole bunch but I think can do fairly well here in finals, show looks pretty cool) 10. Langham Creek(massive improvement from this program, really good stuff and a lot better this go-around at this time, than it was last year, dig the new uniforms, hope to see them march in finals)

The crazy thing is, as weird as this prediction may seem, if judges decide to go crash out, this could happen.

I don’t know if I’d see Paetow or Mayde Creek placing that high against some of our other groups.

I agree with this, I think 10th will be a fight between Katy/Langham Creek, cypress park could possibly do something here though..👀(pun intended)

True, but I wasn’t expecting Mayde Creek to place ahead of them, then again, Mayde Creek has made some INCREDIBLE improvements.
