Nothing against bentonville but if they decided not to show up wakeland would have taken home the competition. -

Walnut Grove is a 5A high-school that will make them 3A here. -

My predictions for tonight is 1. Wakeland/Marcus 2. Marcus/Wakeland 3. Lone Star/LDBell 4. LDBell/Lonestar of course if they make finals. Wakeland could definitely take the visual caption. Marcus will take the other 2. -

I feel like wakeland is going to take home class 3A champions. What makes you think lonestar is going to take it home no pun intended. -
Here are my top 3 predictions: 1. Rouse 2. Wakeland 3. Cedar Park Let me explain why I think Wakeland has a good chance. They lost to Leander by a point in the finals at the super regional, but GE killed Wakeland, and there is no GE. Also, I just like Wakeland's show a lot more than theirs. The tuba solo and trombone solo are cool, but their show just doesn't meet the expectations of that show!

I agree with these placements. Rouse, Cedar Park, and Wakeland have truly left a mark this season. Rouse, sitting at the top, brings a show with some seriously challenging drill work. Their commitment to precision and musicality is evident, but the intricate drill formations mean that one small misstep could lead to a domino effect in certain sets. It's like watching a 5A drum corps take on a marching band performance, and it's fascinating to see their level of discipline and skill. Cedar Park, in the second spot, offers a show that's simply stellar. Their performance is a testament to their exceptional skill and artistry. They perform with a precision and coordination that rivals the best drum corps. Their show's musicality, combined with complex drill work, creates a mesmerizing experience for the audience. Wakeland, in the third position, is a musical powerhouse. Their incredible musicality is beautifully complemented by intricate drill formations, which are not only complex but also visually stunning. It's almost as if they've taken a page from the drum corps book with their precision and the seamless integration of music and movement. The "Finals Bubble" adds an exciting twist to the competition, with Lebanon Trail, Richland, Foster, and Lake Benton all vying for a spot in the finals. These bands bring their unique strengths and creativity to the table, making the finals a tantalizing spectacle of talent.

Heres the link to scores https://www.smbc.uiltexas.org/area/results/files/area-23_5A Area B.pdf Here's my rundown. Wakeland did a fantastic job as they won all 1s and beat Lonestar by 6 points in finals. Wakeland always seems to perform much better during finals, which is amazing. If only they could perform like that during prelims. But I have to admit, Wakeland's show is designed for BOA, which is much better than most shows. On the other hand, if Lonestar had a BOA designed show, they would also be really good. Just imagine if Wakeland and Lonestar combined their talents, it would be a powerhouse! Great job to all the other bands! Wakeland's performance was better than BOA Proser Finals.
