My predictions after UIL 1. Pearland 2. Dickinson 3. Dawson 4. Foster 5.Clear Brook/Clements 6. Clear Brook/Clements/SFA 7. Clear Brook/Fulshear/SFA 8. Shadow Creek 9. Pasadena Memorial 10. Clear Lake After watching UIL runs I believe Clements is criminally underrated this year even though they had a shaky start they may be able to sneak into that 5th state spot, everyone is going to be battling it out for the last state spot and there are going to be some upsets in finals for sure, 5-7 are all interchangeable since they are all able to place well in finals, all finalists have really strong shows so anything can happen, Foster especially with such an early call time they will need to give it their all in prelims.

Clements has gotten a lot better this past week.

talking abt clear brook finals btw

didnt a tuba and a drumline player trip and fall in their finals performance at gulf coast lol? this years area is pretty unpredictable to the point where we could see jumps in placement. who knows where clear brook or dickinson or clements could show up, nothing is decided until finals night and bands could have really good runs or pretty bad runs.

if you've watched the most recent clements video on youtube you will see that they improved their visuals by a long shot, their music has improved, drill has improved, overall their show is really good, I don't find the music "boring", some parts are challenging to do and some drill is difficult to pull off, they will be pretty competitive at area this year when they clean their show this week, I would say pushing top 5 maybe making it to state.
