i totally agree with this. i dont know if it's just me but this year their show, despite the "silly" theme, is much better written and designed than last year and overall i think they sound way better this year than 2022 and 2023. being so close to the cutoff is huge for them! i dont doubt they will make finals, maybe even top half at grand nats.

keyword in my original comment was always. lots of people tend to attribute their own program's losses to their larger competitors, when it shows that size is not everything. also while the graph is trending downwards, you can see there are plenty of bands outside of finals that are larger or around the same size as "small" bands that did make finals so your statement about the graph is untrue

sachse's performance time is brutal.. to those of you who have kids in band/are in band and have had super early morning performance times, what do you guys usually do? i imagine it would be easiest to show up the night before especially if you're doing a non-local competition such as one like BOA SA or UIL state but some bands may opt to wake up at the crack of dawn..
