actually our director matt garrett writes it. he's like jesus in marching band form... but with less facial hair. But he honestly writes some of the best drill i've seen.... EVAR! But yeah... our 06' show... pwnd babies... greatest marching band music in the world.

I made third chair!!! pretty good considering the fact that my directors decided to put me in the second band... third chair horn in region 5 is good... but apparently not good enough for my school's top band.

well yeah but like... i guess what i was saying, is that most bands now... will just kinda... stand there and then they'll do a 4/5 move to the right... then they'll stand there and do one of those jam things where the band is playing loud and dancing like it's jazz. Then they move again, and hold in another unneseccary part... idk though i think they should push it, whether the music is hard or not. I mean... like our band can play flight of the bumble bee... sitting down in concert season... That's no different than standing there in a uniform playing it. If you put it out on the marching field, you should be able to march it also. I don't want to go to a contest to see a band stand there and do easy drill where they face their move every time...(yes their are some). Most bands i see it's just a lot of holding and moving in a box, that will occasionally rotate. I'm not trying to diss any bands in saying this, but I love MARCHING band. Our director writes our drill, and he makes it (sad to say) way too hard. There are some people that can't do it, but it's challenging, demanding, and tiring... and i love it. There's some bands this year that will hold over half of their show! And i'm not exhaggerating! K. i'm done. oh and i tried not to single out any bands... and i'm pretty sure i got way off topic, but yeah keep this going, i'm interested also.

no... process of elimination = ... They were yelling some very racist things to one of our drum majors. And the pit said they couldn't even hear the band they were yelling so loud. Because we were visitor and the student section is right there in front on the home side which is where we were performing to.

yeah kinda like one of our cross town rivals...

did mr. dixon write summit's drill? Because there is this one move that summit, wylie, AND t view did. And i know that he has written for all those schools in the past.

at mansfield we march 10. next year we are losing 2 and gaining 5. I'm too lazy to do the math, so someone add that up for me and I'm gonna go grab some bed.
