We (mansfield), have our first football game on friday vs. Haltom. idk what haltom's show is, but i'm pretty sure judging by what i've seen from us (and from our football team), that it will be more of a battle of the bands than a football game. I'm excited to see there show. Does anyone else start football games on friday?

So which bands made finals at arlington last year? I'm just wondering, because that's the only one our school is going to this year.

While we're talking about end of summer performances, Mansfield is having theirs at Mansfield high school at 7 o' clock friday the 24th, of august. If i could drive to richland.... without getting lost i would. Ya'lls show sounds tight.

neugant is at t. a. howard middle school in mansfield. 100% sure of that. still wanna' know if anyone has heard anything about the asst. job at mansfield. At least our returning director finally got back from the bluecoats this past week.

we lost david trewitt to trinity. So our only returning director is about to start his second year, and he's not even here this summer because he's touring with the bluecoats... so our brand new head director who just moved in this week is doing everything. it's almost as bad as the SGP situation... almost... especially since this guy has no idea what he's doing as far as the band goes... music wise i think he'll be good.

Mansfield lost another director today, so we're getting two brand new directors.

yeah we went to carrolton last year, and we placed fifth in finals. we are going again this year, so hopefully we will see you guys. when i say we i mean Mansfield.

The old head director from Creekview (Nugent or something like that) took a head job as a Junior high director in Mansfield to spend more time with his family.

Yeah... we recorded ours the day after we got it... on a crappy mic... in a crappy room... with no air conditioning... it's bad... But. Cathedral Windows, our show last year, was recorded the second day of LAST YEAR'S band camp... We just do crappy recordings to give the guard something to practice with. But yeah go check it out. we started ours last week... but that's over now... so we just have sectionals each week, then the entire band meets back in august.

Two years ago, our guard had 12 people. Now we have 40!!! Our show theme is called moving forward. It's Imogen Heap music... and Lux Aurumque by Whitacre for the ballade

It's still early... seeing as how school hasn't even started, but do they normally start at the end of summer or the begging of the school year? If not those... then when?

I think that guy took the Head director job at T. A. Howard middle school in Mansfield. Because i'm pretty sure they said the new director is the Creekview head director.

I go to Mansfield, and I think our show is gonna' surprise some people. (in a good way) it's gonna' turn some heads that's for sure. How is everyone else looking?
