They have been insane these past few weeks

I love heath as much as the next guy but they aren’t placing that high, I could see garland or rowlett maybe but still Richardson isn’t placing below heath

Rip richardson’s tarp and pearce’s carpets, i have a feeling those will not make an appearance due to rain/wind on Saturday. I’m just hoping we see a band we don’t expect make state like berkner last year

Just realized I meant to put lake highlands somewhere near 8th place on this list immediately after I posted it

As someone new to area C as of this year, these are my current rankings 1/2 Forney/Waxahachie 3/4 Pearce or sasche (maybe d-vile I haven’t rlly seen their show) 4-7is pretty big toss up based off of how, D-vile (again I haven’t seen much of their show) , Rockwall, Richardson (based on what I’ve seen tonight they have grown a lot in the week since BOA Waco), and North forney do next Saturday, I could see many bands take this final state spot. Pearce could also end up here for sure. The reason why I’m not putting berkner so high, is 1, I haven’t really noticed any real growth this season, like yeah of course they made state last year in area B but that doesn’t guarantee them a spot, and 2, I honestly don’t know where they are at since they haven’t had comps in weeks. Though again they could, and emphasis on could, do great at area, it all comes down to how everyone’s runs go

So it’s been a while and I’ve heard some stuff about staff changes in a few schools so new updated ranking as of August (not including rockwall because I’ve not seen them enough to give a proper ranking, but from what I’ve seen they could be in that iffy position of top 4-6) 1: Waxahachie 2/3: Forney/Berkner (though forney with the move up to 6a could have a hard time, I doubt it) 4: Duncanville (maybe, I could see them dropping to 6th if some schools have exceptional seasons, but it’s too early to tell) 5:Richardson or Lake highlands Again I do not know where to put rockwall but they could cook for all I know. Also, I didn’t put Pearce in because they could literally be anywhere from top 5-10 Honestly this whole area is a pretty big toss up, especially from 5th-10th place, and again anything could change when the season begins.

My current (very early) predictions: Waxahachie Forney berkner/rockwall/Dville berkner/rockwall (this 5th spot could be a toss up depending on how Pearce or richardson’s seasons could go) Lake Highlands/dville lake highlands/pearce Richardson/pearce richardson/pearce Royse city sachse I have a feeling that Duncanville could either have a great season or a bit of a less great season so that’s why I gave it such a gap Richardson from what I’ve learned is stepping up their program again this year to an even higher level, now having a non varsity show and only marching some marchers (still the majority of course, probably 80/90% from my best guess), this is why I placed them above Royce city of course the season hasn’t even started so this could change

Depending on how richardson’s program does this year after their end to the season last year I could see them getting top 8- or maybe top 5 if berkner or Duncanville have a poor season

The Richardson show this year was beyond pandora, it was based on the movie ‘Avatar’. Such a shame their electronics were out in the beginning. I’ve seen clips of their show (Though I don’t remember where) and the beginning had a woodwind choir, but they were hard to hear because of the audio issue. I loved the idea of their show and hope to see them make area finals in years to come.
