I’m not saying anything bad about North Forney, but are they doing good this season. I know they didn’t do that best last year, so I’m just curious why you think they’ll beat Berkner and Royce city. Again please don’t think I’m saying anything bad about these bands.

I think I would take the percussion caption as well. Kind of offended I’m not in 2nd place.

Well sachse the week before placed 1st at the WMI while D-ville tied for 2nd. Then the next week at Birdville D-ville got 2nd while Sachse got 3rd in prelims and 4th in finals. So anything can happen when it comes to that and I would think Rockwall will be around the same place.

That is every school in Area C 6A. Once the region marching contest comes around who ever does not get a 1 will be taken out of that list. All the bands that advance to area will be put in the order of the list you see above.

It’s funny how friendly band kids are to their rival schools compared to the football teams. Rockwall be Rockwall Heath every year is one of the most heated games but then after the game some of the kids from each band go and eat together. One of the things I love most about what I do is the love each band has for each other no matter the size.

I mean regardless of reputation the judges had to have seen something to put those bands in those spots.

I think these bands should get together and intentionally get a 2 so that there is only 1 spot to the state contest. Just a thought…

Anyone know where the Mesquite schools placed in all this? I know they were just exhibitions but they still got scored.

I’m going to be honest I kind of wrote them off when I was first thinking about Area C, but now I don’t know where they’ll be now. 3rd and 4th place will be tough

No no I’m just saying i genuinely don’t know how I would fix it so I’m not going to complain about it to much. I don’t care what other people do 😂

I totally agree, I don’t enjoy the unpredictablbess of the judging, however I don’t like talking bad about it because I have no clue how you would fix that.
