The finals order is all based on a drawing that takes place before prelims results are announced.

My exact list! Especially with forney getting the last slot and Waxahachie getting 2nd I think in prelims forney will definitely take it and it’ll be a battle for first place in finals.

Any predictions on this comp? Not that many so it’ll be interesting to see where everyone comes out.

My band is going to some of the same competitions. I’m so pumped to hear how How To Train Your Dragon sounds on that marching field.

Honestly the fact that Hebron has the power to take down an entire football game so that they’re performance gets cut out is crazy to me.

I’m just confused because I can find Area B, J, and I think I found D too. I can’t find Area C though.

Does anyone know where to find the performance order for 2024?

Can someone tell me what this means? It looks like the performance order for Area B, and if it is why haven’t I seen it for any other areas?

The only schools that I have heard are going (not 100% certain) Canyon HS Rockwall HS Waxahachie HS Wylie HS

I can honestly see Lone Star getting anywhere from 7th to just outside of finals. Some of the groups ahead of them in Tren’s post have beat them previously at BOA Bedford last year. I’m very curious to see where they fall in all this chaos.

Yeah area C definitely got the better end of this whole change. Area B and J are kinda thrown into the deep end.

I hadn’t thought about that. Thats a really good point, I think it will definitely be a battle between Rockwall, Berkner, and Duncanville this season.

Info on MMI? I know the WMI and BOA Bedford are happening the same weekend. I’m super excited about this competition.

Also 20 of the 24 bands consistently get 1’s at the region contest. So if all goes right there should be 4 advancing to the state contest.

Yeah, I could totally see that based on how good last years show was. Though I am curious where D-ville goes after not making state last year.
