I feel like GE is completely different from music and visual because a school might have a super easy to play and march show but the show might not make much sense to the over all idea of the show, so it might not be very enjoyable for the audience.

No no I’m just saying i genuinely don’t know how I would fix it so I’m not going to complain about it to much. I don’t care what other people do 😂
 

I totally agree, I don’t enjoy the unpredictablbess of the judging, however I don’t like talking bad about it because I have no clue how you would fix that.

I agree it is kind of frustrating how subjective it is but that also can be a really fun part of this SPORT.

After seeing the past weeks results where Forney beat waxahachie, I’m wondering who will come out on top.

Don’t know much about these schools but I have a feeling either Lakeview centennial or sulpher springs will take this one.

Very curious to see who gets first here.

I expect Rockwall and Emerson to be really close, both could win imo. Here’s my top 10 after last weekend: 
1. Rockwall (visual) 
2. Emerson (music/guard) 
3. Lewisville 
 
4. Heritage 
5. Memorial 
6 Independence

7. Highland park (Perc)
8. Walnut Grove
9. JJ Pearce
10. Almost anyone else 

I could definitely see Allen in finals, though I havnt seen their show this year.

I know they were advancing all 14 bands to finals before, but now there are 16 so are they still going to have everyone go to finals? If they don’t would there be 10 going to finals? Lots of questions.

I’m very curious to see how D-vills does. Them and sachse are the schools I’m most unsure of where to put them when I’m making a prediction for a contest.

My predictions on Top 3:
1. Hebron
2. Rockwall
3. Highland Park

The finals order is all based on a drawing that takes place before prelims results are announced.

Yeah area C definitely got the better end of this whole change. Area B and J are kinda thrown into the deep end.

Not to be a hater, but I don’t think Heath is gonna be they high. Ik it’s a complete different comp, and they definitely have a chance at finals, but unless it’s a miracle year, probably bottom 2. I also think Lake Highlands will be top 7, as they have made finals at are B the last 3 seasons in a row. Richardson will also be in finals assuming they build off last season. Here’s my current preds:

Especially with forney getting the last slot and Waxahachie getting 2nd I think in prelims forney will definitely take it and it’ll be a battle for first place in finals.

Honestly the fact that Hebron has the power to take down an entire football game so that they’re performance gets cut out is crazy to me.
