CP is going to do win again in my opinion.... From what I'm being told they are working on things for state to surprise everyone at prelims and finals.... Wakeland has a great chance to medal but it won't be for first...

Their run the second time didn't have the power and intensity as the first...

Lone star supposed to go on 4th for finals... but the other bands that drew for finals didn't make finals so it goes in order after that.. FYI

Exactly the same way I felt...

At state last year

If we take a look at CP Rouse and Wakeland... they have more drill than Lone Star... that is what takes you from top 3 to 4th to 10th..... Being an old timer band member it's always been about who has the best technique marching, floating the forms and straight lines and diagnels ...... and the bands I see accomplishing these things are those 3 bands... Lone Star is almost there... they just need do a little more marching technique training and they'll be seriously taken at State Uil and BOA'S..

We were 7th last year..

Lone Star does have an amazing show. But they need more Movement and drill .. musicality wise they can compete with CP Rouse Wakeland and the other top bands. Their only weakness is not enough GE/drill..

From what I know and have heard CP is planning something for the end of their show for state... if look at their show you can see areas where they are still building their drill... or sand bagging till state... they have something up their sleeves...

We try to here in Frisco.... Back in the 1900's As a 3A Dr Trent had us playing 5A music during concert season..... Molly on the Shore for a freshman was daunting..... lol...

Even with a few missing band members TC is doing amazing they sound great... they're music is amazing... It'll get cleaner in the next two weeks.. guard is a little behind on timing but it will fix itself...

Lovejoy great drill awesome color guard..... just need to clean up their music and they'll be a solid band at UIL..
